ADULT BIBLE COMMUNITIES (ABCs)
SUNDAYS, 9:00-10:15 AM
This is the name we give to our Sunday school classes for adults. These groups (there are several to choose from) are focused on growing in Bible knowledge and application, but with a heavy emphasis upon community as well.
The ABCs are where inclusive, caring, and trusted relationships are nurtured. Those relationships are the context where the “one another” commands of Scripture are most easily obeyed: love one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and more.
At CCC we believe that our discipleship to Jesus is expressed in learning of him and being renewed in his image, but also in taking up a role of service in his name (Philippians 2:6,7; Ephesians 4:12,16; 1 Peter 4:10). We urge every believer to be engaged in a ministry appropriate for their gifts, temperament and experience.
Ministry teams are platoons of willing servants organized for an agreed, God-honoring objective. Some ministry teams are long term (world missions ministry team for example) and the participants may change from year to year. Other ministry teams come together for a short term objective (Operation Christmas Child, or vacation Bible school are examples).
CELEBRATION WORSHIP SERVICE
SUNDAYS, 10:30 AM
Worship at CCC is meant to engage everyone in giving praise and receiving inspiration from having drawn near to God’s throne of grace. We want our worship to be sincere, authentic and intimate. Our style may be described as contemporary but grounded in the Word of God, informal but with reverence for the importance of the occasion.
