ADULT BIBLE COMMUNITIES (ABCs)
SUNDAYS, 9:00-10:15 AM
These groups (there are several to choose from) are focused on growing in Bible knowledge and application, but with a heavy emphasis upon community as well.
The ABCs are where inclusive, caring, and trusted relationships are nurtured. Those relationships are the context where the “one another” commands of Scripture are most easily obeyed: love one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and more.
YOUNG (ER) COUPLES BIBLE STUDY
2nd & 4th SUNDAYS, 6:00-8:00 PM
Our current video study is "The God Who Is There". Speaker D.A. Carson will shore up what we believe as Christians and why we believe it in a profound way. This is a great series for anyone wanting to learn about the God of the Bible. Childcare is provided during Bible study. We also aim to have a fun fellowship gathering every quarter.
At CCC we believe that our discipleship to Jesus is expressed in learning of him and being renewed in his image, but also in taking up a role of service in his name (Philippians 2:6,7; Ephesians 4:12,16; 1 Peter 4:10). We urge every believer to be engaged in a ministry appropriate for their gifts, temperament and experience. Some ministry teams are long term, while other ministry teams come together for a short term objective. Contact us to find out which ministry team is for you!
CELEBRATION WORSHIP SERVICE
SUNDAYS, 10:30 AM
Worship at CCC is meant to engage everyone in giving praise and receiving inspiration from having drawn near to God’s throne of grace. We want our worship to be sincere, authentic and intimate. Our style may be described as contemporary but grounded in the Word of God, informal but with reverence for the importance of the occasion.
50s PLUS FELLOWSHIP GROUP
The 50+ group was formed to foster the bonds of friendship and support available from joining together to celebrate the natural bond we have with others who have faith in Jesus Christ. The name is not intended to be restrictive (anyone is welcome) but it is somewhat indicative of the types of fellowship activities that are pursued.
Members volunteer to host events about monthly. Past events have included pot lucks, zoo trips, hay rides, concerts, game days, etc. Events are often held at the church or in different homes.
